As dreams of a completed boardwalk in Ganges Harbour inch closer to reality, landowners along the proposed route are laying out their demands.
Four property owners along the potential boardwalk path have outlined a wish list of changes they’d like to see on their properties if the boardwalk is to go ahead. The conditions are listed in an Aug. 24 staff report presented at Thursday afternoon’s Local Trust Committee meeting.
Owners of the 1,800-square-foot property next to the famed Cudmore gap at 145 Lower Ganges Rd. want to fill part of their shoreline, have the residential lot rezoned to permit commercial uses and increase the combined subdivision potential on two lots on Mount Belcher Heights from two to 11.
